Founder Tara Cox has been preparing for Kinisi her entire life. As a Human Resources expert for 20 years, she has worked at the center of people’s lives through a variety of changes – from births to marriages, divorces to deaths, and then some – and has worked with a range of people in different career situations, from happily new and excited employees to bored or fully content long-standing employees, even to disgruntled employees. She has been so good at her job for so long precisely because of the two most critical elements that are essential to helping people: compassion and forward movement.
Tara has an innate sense of empathy for people and a genuine curiosity that enables her to meet them in their current state and help them move out of being stuck and into the best form of themselves by taking true, tangible actions.
Tara Cox credits her ability ‘to move’ to her rural upbringing, the mentality of “can do” and “don’t give up”. She put herself through college, working full-time during a full class load. While gaining her management degree and working, she also was a member of several clubs, like Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity, and a representative on the Student Body. Tara was a multi-sport athlete in high school and studied the NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) curriculum; she subscribes to their Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model incorporates Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory, Core, Balance, Power, and Strength. Tara offers solutions for every fitness level. Her professional certifications are as follows:
Kinisi Coaching results from a culmination of years of passion and a drive to go beyond the capacity of what can be done in Human Resources. Tara works one-on-one with her clients and helps them find the light at the end of the tunnel in which they have found themselves. She wants nothing more than to see you succeed through a self-discovery journey that places you, not her, at the helm of your own ship, sailing forward on your own.
Kinisi coaching is about courageous, consistent, and accountable forward movement. It’s about tangible action. And real results. It is about getting you where you want to go, even if you’re not sure where that is yet.
